In our testing, the majority of participants were more satisfied with their skin health and appearance after 4 weeks of taking Qualia Skin. Their satisfaction continued to build over time. Participants were more satisfied with skin health and appearance after 8 weeks than 4 weeks, and after 12 weeks compared to 8 weeks. So while you are likely to notice some skin health and appearance benefits after taking Qualia Skin for 4 weeks, supporting beauty from within should be thought of as a slow and gradual process that builds over several months of supplementation.☨
☨Proprietary consumer study of adults who took Qualia Skin.
Qualia Skin contains seven minerals—Iron, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Chromium, Molybdenum—in amounts ranging from 20-28% of the daily value amounts for adults. While individual needs may vary, and the upper limit for most minerals is greater than 100% of the daily value amount, it’s a good idea to check the amounts of minerals in other supplements you are taking to make sure that the amounts of any single mineral you are taking from all of your supplements together do not exceed the tolerable upper intake level.
We did not formulate Qualia Skin with children or teenagers in mind or include any persons of this age range in our pre-marketing testing of this formula, because children or teenagers do not have the same skin health needs as adults. Because of this, we don’t recommend supplementing Qualia Skin to children or teenagers.

Our general recommendation is to take Qualia Skin with food because it contains several different fat-soluble nutrients (e.g., Astaxanthin, Lycopene). Fat-soluble compounds are more bioavailable when consumed with dietary fat, so it’s best when they are consumed with or near the end of a meal or snack that contains some fat. But, if it is much more convenient for you to take Qualia Skin without food, we don’t think the bioavailability advantage should outweigh convenience and would encourage you to take it in the way that would be easiest for you to fit into your schedule.
Qualia Skin contains Lycopene (from tomato fruit extract) and AstaPure® Astaxanthin. These ingredients are more bioavailable when consumed with fat or oil. And, the rest of the ingredients are food extracts or nutrients found in food. So, for best results, we recommend taking Qualia Skin during or shortly after a meal or snack that contains some source of dietary fat (e.g., avocado, nuts, seeds, eggs, butter).
While Qualia Skin was created to be a vegan all-in-one solution for those who want to support skin's radiance, hydration, and firmness, our behaviors also influence skin health and appearance. So getting sufficient sleep, engaging in adequate exercise, eating a nourishing diet, practicing safe sun habits, and using innovative biohacks are all part of the solution for keeping the skin as healthy and youthful as possible.
Recent information has suggested that mega doses of biotin (5,000-10,000 mcg or more) may interfere with some lab tests, so several national lab testing services recommend ceasing supplementation with mega doses of biotin starting two days prior to certain lab tests. The mega-dose amounts are 166 to 333 times higher than the amount of biotin in Qualia Skin (or other Qualia products that have biotin as an ingredient). While the amount of biotin in Qualia Skin would not be expected to cause interference in lab tests, it is a good idea to let your doctor know you are taking a supplement with biotin and follow any recommendation they may have about stopping it prior to lab testing.
Yes. Qualia Skin was designed to be able to be taken safely with all of the Qualia cognitive products.
Soy foods and soy isoflavones have been studied a number of times and have not been found to impact testosterone in men.* As is the case with most compounds found in the diet, it can be useful to think in terms of amount rather than good or bad. The SoyLife® Soy Germ Extract used in Qualia Skin contains soy isoflavones in an amount that would be found in the Japanese diet, which has a reputation of being one of the world’s healthiest cuisines for both men and women.
The SoyLife® Soy Germ Extract used in Qualia Skin contains soy isoflavones. Soy isoflavones are a type of bioflavonoid, which is often described as being a phytoestrogen. Phyto means plant, so phytoestrogens are plant-based compounds that mimic some estrogen functions in the body. Many foods, especially legumes, nuts, seeds, and fruits contain phytoestrogens. While phytoestrogens are often described as having estrogen-like activity, scientific evidence suggests they have more of a normalizing or balancing role on estrogen function.* As is the case with most compounds found in the diet, it’s useful to think in terms of amount rather than good or bad. The number of soy isoflavones in Qualia Skin would be found in a diet where fermented soy products are consumed consistently, like the Japanese diet, which has a reputation for being one of the world’s healthiest cuisines.
